At the Texas State Capitol in Downtown Austin
Join us to speak to Texas legislature about transportation safety

We can end traffic deaths in Texas, but we need leadership from the legislature and Governor. And they need to hear your story. Join us on Tuesday, March 12th at the Texas State Capitol in Austin to advocate for safety on Texas streets and roads. The Vision Zero Texas legislative agenda includes five life-saving reform measures:

  • Safe Neighborhood Streets
  • Consistent Statewide Hands Free
  • Stop for Pedestrians
  • Crash Not Accident

The day will include a training before you head out with a small team to the halls of the Capitol to meet with legislative staff. Coffee and light breakfast will be supplied in the morning, and we will have another panel discussion and luncheon open to legislative staffers.

Each participant is responsible for their own transportation and lodging. Registered participants will receive details and instructions by email. The day begins at 9am and will end at 3pm at which time you may choose to walk around on some of the streets of Downtown Austin closed to car and truck traffic to experience the South by Southwest music festival.

Tickets are limited by which area of the state you represent.
